• Heidi Montag fired Spencer Pratt as manager, five years later.

• Former Will & Grace star Sean Hayes came out of the closet.
• Celebrity feud of the week: Keith Olbermann vs. Bill Simmons.
• Miley Cyrus is, like, totally deep … more so than most peeps.

Corey Haim (1971-2010).

• R.I.P.: Former child star Corey Haim passed away at the age of 38 after an apparent, accidental overdose of prescription drugs. He will be missed.
• Couple news: Ronnie and Sammi of Jersey Shore broke up again; Kim Zolciak denied girl-on-girl action; Jake and Vienna are accused of cheating.
• Baby news: Congrats to Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza (expecting), Joseph Fiennes and wife (girl) and Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart (girl).
• Police blotter: DMX notched his first arrest of 2010; Ben Roethlisberger is accused of sexual assault; Lil Wayne was taken into custody; Andrew Young was found in contempt for not surrendering the John Edwards sex tape.

Well, there’s always Eclipse.

While Robert Pattinson fans are excited over that movie’s first official trailer, we have some sobering news: movie critics have responded harshly to the actor’s first starring role as an actual human being.

Most of the Remember Me reviews are more critical of the script and the story than of the performances by Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin, but the following excerpts can’t be what anyone associated with the film wishes to hear:

Mini-spoiler warning: The movie is set in 2001, soon after 9/11. It sounds like many critics take exception to the film’s depiction and possible manipulation of that tragic event in American history.
